CEEP Job Opportunity

The Town of Bonavista has received Community Enhancement Employment Program funding and is seeking a Foreperson and Labourers to repair/restore Fish Flakes within the community.

All workers must provide their own safety equipment. One applicant must have a valid first aid certificate and all applicants must be in receipt of EI or be EI eligible.

The expected project start date is October 6th, 2025.

The positions pay minimum wage.

Individuals must be currently unemployed to be eligible to work on the project.

Individuals must provide all previous Record(s) of Employment since their last EI allocation.

Individuals must have at least 20 hours to qualify. 

Individuals can only be employed for up to 400 hours.

Individuals must qualify for EI by the end of the project.
