The primary purpose of issuing permits is to ensure that all construction and development within the Town of Bonavista complies with applicable safety, health, building, and zoning requirements.

Permit applications may be submitted in person at the Town Office or electronically by email.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Applications will not be processed until payment and all required supporting documentation have been received. Please ensure your application includes the following:

• Processing Fee

• Legal land survey and property description

• Construction plans and/or façade sketch

• Site plan or proposal sketch showing the location of the proposed development, including distances from buildings, property lines, and any easements.
