municipal body corporate, duly incorporated

and existing pursuant to the Towns and Local

Service Districts Act, S.N.L. 2023, c. T-6.2

NOTICE OF SURPLUS FUNDS

BY ORDER OF THE SUPREME COURT OF NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR:

The public is hereby advised that funds have been paid into the Supreme Court in relation to the sale of the following properties by municipal tax sale of the Town of Bonavista:

1. 4 BAKER’S MARSH ROAD, BONAVISTA, NL

2. 14-20 DAVIS LANE, BONAVISTA, NL

3. 25 SHELLEY’S ROAD, BONAVISTA, NL

4. 18 SWEENEY’S LANE, BONAVISTA, NL

The properties aforesaid were last assessed to the following individuals:

1. 4 BAKER’S MARSH ROAD: ESTATE OF EDWARD STAGG SR.

2. 14-20 DAVIS LANE: OWNER UNKNOWN

3. 25 SHELLEY’S ROAD: ESTATE OF JERRY SHELLEY

4. 18 SWEENEY’S LANE: ESTATE OF THOMAS JOY

Any person having claim to the properties aforesaid or to the proceeds of the sale shall file notice of the particulars of such claim at the Registry of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador at Grand Bank, NL, P.O. Box 910, Grand Bank, NL, A0E 1W0, and with the law firm of Mills, Pittman & Twyne, Suite 201, 111 Manitoba Drive, Clarenville, NL, A5A 1K2 in the above entitled cause, on or before July 3rd, 2026 after which date any funds remaining unclaimed shall be paid to the parties appropriately entitled by determination of the Court, or, in the absence of individuals so entitled, to the Newfoundland and Labrador Consolidated Revenue Fund pursuant to the provisions of the Judicature Act, R.S.N.L. 1990, c. J-4, s. 70.

Any claim filed as aforesaid shall be recalled at the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and

Labrador at Grand Bank, NL, on July 9th, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. Arrangements for remote
