URBAN AND RURAL PLANNING ACT, 2000 NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGE TO THE TOWN OF BONAVISTA MUNICIPAL PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, 2014 -2024 Municipal Plan Amendment No. 3, 2024 Development Regulations Amendment No. 3, 2024 The Town Council of Bonavista wishes to make a change to the Town of Bonavista Municipal Plan and Development Regulations to allow the development of multi-unit dwellings off Dwyer Street for seniors housing. The 1.279-hectare site is proposed to be re-designated from “Public Use” to “Residential” and re-zoned from “Public Use” to “Residential Multi-Unit”. The Town Council of Bonavista wishes to receive any comments or representation on these proposed changes. Anyone wishing to make a comment, objection, or representation should submit a signed statement outlining their concerns to the Town of Bonavista, by October 25, 2024. We regret to inform the public that the Town of Bonavista is unable to accept any electronic payments such as debit or credit cards from September 25th, 2024 to October 1st, 2024, due to the changing of banks. Cash payments will still be accepted. Furthermore, please be advised that the Town Hall will be closed on Monday, September 30th in honour of National Truth and Reconciliation Day and will reopen at 8 am on Tuesday, October 1st.
