- Tourist Accommodation Tax
Beginning January 1, 2026 , the Town of Bonavista will introduce a 4% tax on the nightly rate of all tourist accommodations . Accommodation providers will be responsible for collecting this tax and remitting it to the Town on a quarterly basis. All revenue generated through the Tourist Accommodation Tax will be reinvested directly into the community, supporting infrastructure improvements, community services, and local development initiatives.
